A chair for Martians

A chair for Martians

Life on Mars: Thomas Missé has designed a chair for the red planet. And asks: How many chairs fit in a spaceship?

Carbon Chair Thomas Miss Mars Chair Design

Thomas Missé is sure: "Soon mankind will dare the first resettlement on Mars!", says the designer, who recently developed the "Mars Chair" for this purpose. Missé would like to take it with him to Mars, because it can be stacked on top of each other without any problems thanks to its centimeter-precise fit, thus saving not only space but also money, since experts reckon with enormous transport costs between Earth and Mars. What's more, at a net weight of just 500 grams, the carbon "Mars Chair" can easily carry a sumo wrestler, according to the designer. So if a heavyweight ventures to the red planet in the near future, he will have found the perfect companion in Missé's design.
