10 things I love about Corfu!

Yes ok, that I also vacationed on Corfu again this year is no surprise. My Greek half needs Greece, at least once a year. That's why I spent almost a month on my favorite island this year too. I was already there in April and already noticed then how much energy Corfu gives me. This year also friends were with me and one sees an island, which one visits for 37 years always again with other eyes, if one sees it from the view of humans, who visit the island for the first time.

For me Corfu is namely my second home. My parents rent apartments there and we also have our private house there since the 80s. So for me, a lot of my vacation consists of sitting in the garden under the olive trees, visiting my personal favorite beaches and spending lots of time with family. Rarely do I feel like I absolutely have to see this and that yet.

This year I took the visit of my friends but also to the occasion to explore the island once again and to bring one or the other new as well as old Corfu excursion tip , which I have not yet revealed here. So here we go:

01. The most impressive view

Since Corfu is very mountainous, there are many places where you have a great view over bays and valleys. One of the most beautiful views is from the highest mountain, the Pantokrator. On top you can visit a monastery. Unfortunately, there are now some radio masts around the monastery, but still the view is very impressive.
